In recognition of his contributions to the LOLC Group, and the local IT Industry as a whole, He was awarded the CSSL CIO of the Year in 2016. He was also awarded the Professional Excellence Award 2017 at the event organized by Institute of Certified Management of Accountants of Sri Lanka. His previous tenures include Group CIO of Hirdaramani Group of Companies, AVP of Vanik Incorporations Limited, and Systems Manager Eagle NDB Fund Management Company Limited. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a Fellow of British Computer Society and a Fellow member of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He has been also selected as one of the 11inductees of the world for CIO hall of fame and CIO 100 honoree for year 2020 and the CIMA top 50 ICONS in the year 2021.

Sandun Hapugoda is the Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives at Mastercard. He joined Mastercard in 2017 to lead the company’s Digital and Value Added Services business in Sri Lanka and Maldives. Since then, he has been instrumental in deepening the company’s partnerships with banking and non-banking financial institutions, fintechs and merchants by enhancing and streamlining their digital payment journeys 1234. Sandun was also actively involved in the launch of the first EMV mPOS solution, SoftPOS and Mastercard’s cyber and intelligence solutions in the region 1. Prior to joining Mastercard, Sandun worked at Dialog Axiata PLC, a subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad, as the Head of Mobile Money 1. Sandun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing

iOmniscient provides AI based Multi-Sensor Analytics involving video, sound and smell to better replicate human reasoning. These technologies are proven and have been implemented by commercial and government users in 70 countries.
In her Address, Ms Clarissa Hayward, Business Head of iOmniscient for India and Sri Lanka will discuss some of the 300 use cases that the company offers for improving safety, security and productivity across 30 different industries describing specific examples of how customers use the technology.
She has been part of the iOmniscient family from October 2016 and has been part of several smart cities projects. She will also talk and share her knowledge about how iOmniscient systems can be implemented at zero incremental cost by reducing infrastructure costs making it less expensive to implement an iOmniscient intelligent system than one without intelligence

Mr. Roshan Rassool joined Softlogic in 1995 and was appointed to the Board in 2009. He is the Director/CEO of the Computing Systems & Systems Integration Solutions Division of Softlogic Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd., which has business partnerships with Dell Corporation, Apple Computers, Lenovo, CISCO, EMC storage systems, Microsoft, HP imaging products and VMware. He was appointed as a member of Dell South Asia Partner Advisory Council in 2011. He served as Chairman of Infotel Lanka in 2006/2007 and was President of the Sri Lanka Computer Vendors Association at the same time. He was also Chairman of the Federation of Information Technology Industries, Sri Lanka in 2007. He holds an MBA from the University of East London and is a doctoral student at the University of Kelaniya. He is also an Associate Member of the Association of Business Executives and a Member of the Cyprus Institute of Marketing. He has over 30 years of experience behind him in the ICT industry having worked at senior managerial positions in reputed companies.

Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan is the Chancellor at Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology and the CEO of CARE Pvt Ltd. He is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, and an Associate Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University, USA. Dr. Khan has supervised/co-supervised over 20 PhD and 120 MS theses to completion. He is also a founding member of CASE and CARE.
Dr. Khan received his BE in Avionics (Gold Medalist) from the College of Aeronautical Engineering, NED University, and his MS & PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA.
Dr. Khan has over 22 years of industrial experience in companies in the USA and Pakistan. He has helped NUST to strengthen its industrial base research culture as Head of the Computer Engineering Department at the College of E&ME. Dr. Khan has also helped CASE to become one of the largest postgraduate engineering programs in the country, with over 20 PhDs and 1000+ MS in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management already graduated.

Thushera Kawdawatta is a technology leader and tech aficionado with over 24 years of experience in software product development and consulting for world class global enterprises. He is trailblazer in many IT initiatives at the global industry level on software reuse, engineering productivity & software sizing and architecture governance & best practices, with extensive experience as the architect of over 100 software projects across the globe, including for fortune 500 enterprises.
Prior to ADL, he spent over 19 years at Virtusa corporation where he played the role of Chief Software Architect, and was responsible for software architecture standards, governance, capability development and R&D and was a practice head role responsible for building a scalable organization. Adding to that, Thushera has served in key technical leadership roles for 2 startup companies.
He was also appointed as a Board Member of the Academic Committee, University of Moratuwa – BIT for CODL, Board Member, CSSL (2016-2017) and a committee member for the parliament select committee on AI standards for Sri Lanka.

Indika De Zoysa is the Chairman of the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) and the Strategic Adviser / Vice President of Huawei Technologies Sri Lanka. He is responsible for the Sri Lanka Huawei Enterprise business and provides leadership to the Enterprise business group.
Indika De Zoysa has been associated with FITIS since 1996, when it was established with a goal to provide a centralized platform for Sri Lanka's ICT industry. Over the years, FITIS has evolved into the leading authority in the country's private sector in information and communication technology, encompassing a wide array of industry segments, including system integrators, hardware vendors, software development firms, training and education institutes, telecommunications companies, office automation vendors, and ICT professional bodies.
Indika De Zoysa is committed to driving change and innovation in Sri Lanka's ICT sector. He plans to cooperate closely with the Government in transforming the ICT industry sector in key areas that are essential to sustain the growth of systems and services in the digital domain. In digitalizing public services, he plans to provide expert consultation to public and private organizations, promote digital literacy across the population, support e-government initiatives, and foster increased penetration of digital devices through high-speed broadband connectivity.

Ms. Catherine Lian is the Managing Director of IBM Malaysia, a position she has held since April 2019. She is responsible for the growth and leadership of IBM Malaysia's operations, which includes sales and distribution and IBM's fully-owned subsidiaries offering global delivery services - IBM Client Innovation Center.
Ms. Lian has been with IBM for over 20 years and has held various leadership positions in the company. Prior to her current role, she was the General Manager of IBM Singapore where she was responsible for driving growth in the country's business operations.
Ms. Lian is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. She believes that diversity is key to driving innovation and creating a more inclusive work environment.

Seshika is recognized as an industry thought leader in the financial technology domain. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics, UK. She is a British Chevening Scholar and holds a national patent for her invention, the Trusted Cheque Protocol, which also received the Presidential Award for Best National Invention in Public Welfare in 2009.
In addition to her remarkable professional accomplishments, Seshika actively advocates for women in STEM fields, working to promote gender equality and inclusivity. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, calligraphy, and off-road cycling.
