Refund Policy

Thank you for considering participating in the API Asia Conference 2023 organized and hosted by FITIS (Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka). We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to ensure clarity regarding our refund policy. Please review the following refund policy before registering for the conference:

  1. Registration Fees:

All registration fees for the API Asia Conference are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as outlined below.

  1. Refund Requests:

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers via email at Please provide your full name, contact information, and registration details along with the reason for your refund request.

  1. Refund Eligibility and Deadlines:
  • Full Refunds: If you need to cancel your registration, you may be eligible for a full refund if the request is submitted [number of days] days before the start of the conference. Full refunds will be issued minus any administrative fees.
  • Partial Refunds: For cancellations made [04] days before the conference, a partial refund may be provided, subject to administrative fees.
  •  No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than [03] days before the conference start date.
  1. Substitutions:

If you are unable to attend the API Asia Conference after registering, you may transfer your registration to a substitute participant from your organization. Substitution requests must be made in writing and sent to before [13-11-2023]. Please include the full details of the original registrant and the substitute participant.

  1. Cancellation of the Conference:

In the rare event that API Asia Conference is canceled or postponed, registrants will be contacted directly via the email address provided during registration. In such cases, options for refunds or credits toward future events will be provided.

  1. Force Majeure:

FITIS shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations under these terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government orders, transportation delays or labour disputes.
